On January 11th Sir Edmund Hillary passed away at the age of 88. Hillary is most famous for his 1953 climb of Mount Everest with Tenzing Norgay, and he instantly became a national hero in his home country of New Zealand. His state funeral will be taking place later today in his home town of Auckland.  On January 12th, the day after Hillary’s death, New Zealand rapper Jody Lloyd (AKA Trillion) wrote and recorded a tribute song.
